Roselea

Surrounded by a beautiful garden, this two storey extension to a Victorian villa contains a workshop and double height garden room, with a mezzanine and shower room on the upper level.

An ash stair, with a specially commissioned balustrade made by Jim Whitson, The Blazing Blacksmith, leads from the garden room to the upper level, giving views south through a large window onto the garden. A new opening in the existing gable wall provides a connection between the extension and the house, with a door carefully designed to match the traditional detailing of the existing shutters and other internal joinery.
